Group Treatment and Support Group Options at OCGB

The OCD and Anxiety Center of Greater Baltimore offers two group options for those interested in learning more about OCD and its treatment with the support of others who understand.

Our Adult OCD Treatment/Support group combines the compassionate understanding of a traditional support group with the structure of a CBT treatment group.  Members are adults with OCD looking to learn more about the disorder and its treatment, develop individual treatment plans, get ERP homework, and help each other get OCD mastery under the guidance of OCGB’s director, Jon Hershfield, MFT.  The group meets every Monday at 6:30.  Click HERE for more info.

Our Family Member Support Group is a psychoeducational program for people who love someone with OCD.  If you have a spouse or child with OCD and want to learn more about how to be supportive and compassionate without being a slave to your loved one’s symptoms, this group led by OCGB therapist Molly Schffer, LGPC will teach you the ins and out so the disorder.  Learn how OCD works and why reassurance and accommodation disrupts the family system.  Get support from others who know what it’s like.  The group meets every alternate Tuesday at 6:00.  Click HERE for more info
